The thing that keeps the damper from closing completely so gas fumes do not build up....
Can I buy one of these at my local Menards or Lowes?
What is the technical term for these incase i have to ask someone?
How do they go on the existing damper?? Fairly simple?

it is a damper restrictor clamp you may have to get it at a fireplace store a iron I-beam clamp for hanging elect. emt pipe will work, but get the cast iron one not the alum.one
