would you go for the money and get a goodman hp or go for the name and get a carrier hp? looking into the dual fuel hp

I'd get the Amana ASZ which is a bit more than the goodman and has a better warranty, is cheaper, & has better efficiency ratings than Carrier.

Given the two choices. I would take the Carrier quality over the Goodman price everytime.

Go with the Goodman hands up, down, or sideways. I'll take it over a Carrier any day. Just find a Goodman authorized HVAC contractor for the install and not a masquerading pro who turns out to be a hack.
