I have a York split system heat pump/ac in our attic Model#E1EB030A06A.
yesterday the air coming out of the vents was nice and cold but it was barely coming out. We changed the filter and that seemed to improve the air flow a little. This morning there was no air blowing at all. After about four hours of it being in the off position on the tstat, Tried turning it on again and this time it was blowing air like it should but the air isn't cold enough. any suggestions of what to check?

Without any more information it sounds like a low refrigerant charge. Low charge can cause the evaporator (cooling) coil to freeze and reduce or completely stop the airflow. If you can see the cooling coil from the filter compartment you can check to see if it is covered in ice.
If it is a low charge the only recourse is a licensed mechanic.
