I recently purchased a house that once had a garage/carport area that was walled off and finished into a room. The previous owners did not raise the floor to grade level, just simply framed a wall where the garage opening was and had airducts installed. I am looking to open this space back into a garage/carport.

Would there be any issues to be aware of with regards to this process? I assume that all needing to be done is simply remove the wall that was framed at the garage opening, but I wanted to make sure before doing so that I wasn't going to be potentially harming the above structure.

Any advise/comments on this issue are welcomed and encouraged! Thanks!

Just make sure that he didn't run any wires of pipes through that wall. I don't see a structure problem.
