Howdy,
I will be buying these (http://www.costco.com/Browse/Product.aspx?Prodid=11298383&whse=BC&Ne=4000000&eCat=BC|79|4802&N=4001405&Mo=11&pos=6&No=7&Nr=P_CatalogName:BC&cat=4802&Ns=P_Price|1||P_SignDesc1&lang=en-US&Sp=C&ec=BC-EC3-Cat79&topnav=&SessionID=9d40d236-7eab-48ef-bc6d-e42ad05ce7e3) cameras from Costco. I know that it comes with four cameras and 60' of siamese cables which provide the video and power to each camera. I want to run the cameras to the eaves of my house. I then want to place the DVR in my office and run the wires through the attic, down and then out of the wall to the DVR. My question revolves around the wires themselves and install options. Are these cables safe to run around insulation and drywall? Are there any good wall plates and jacks I can use to make the install cleaner or will I just have to punch a hole and let the cable flop out? I don't mind running the cable out of a hole since the area behind where t he DVR will be is covered by a large entertainment center, but I wouldn't mind cleaning it up a bit anyway.

It's 12vdc at fairly low current. About the only thing you shouldnt do with this cable is run it through air ductwork.
The best trim plates I've found for this kind of thing are the ones made for cable tv installation with the 1/2" hole in the center. Get the Vinyl ones, if you can; the cheaper ones crack too easily.
