The plastic tabs on my traverse rod have gotten brittle and are breaking, how do I replace them?

most hardware store will sell replacement "carriers" for your rod.. In the back of your rod, near each end cap that houses your pullys, you will be able to depress a spring or or lever that will allow you to slide out each carrier.
get your head behind there and look inside the channel that houses these things at each end. move a carrier to the end, whatever stops it is what needs to be depressed or turned to slide them out.
