I'm trying to get our new Harman/Kardon receiver (AVR 154) to work with our DISH Network receiver. I believe the DISH Network receiver we have (DVR 522) is made by EchoStar. However, the codes in the back of the H/K owners manual don't work on our DISH receiver.
Does anyone have a suggestion to help me out? I've got everything else running through the H/K remote (VCR, DVD, etc.), and I'd love to be able to control the DISH receiver with the same remote, too.

Try it the other way, you'll be just as satisfied!!!
The simple fact is, most A/V remotes won't have a Sat Guide, View, info, DVR FF 30 sec, DVR Rewind 10 sec., Keyword search, etc, etc.
Key all the necessary codes into the Dish DVR 522 remote. Works for me on my 722.
'ceptin the Dish remote won't turn on my Gas Logs!!!!
