My wife and I are preparing our house for resale and looking at upgrading bathrooms to enhance saleability while trying to keep expenses at a minimum. I've been told that replacing the 30" bathroom vanities with more contemporary height of 34" would help. Vanities are in good shape. What would be the best way to raise the height of existing vanities and would it be worth the trouble?

Raising the top or adding to the kick would look very unconventional and probably do more harm than good. Installing a new vanity would be the only good option. My primary concern would be the whole bathroom. All too often I have seen renovations go out in a dumpster when the new owners decide to change everything. Tough call. Do you have pictures?
