I have some of the 60's metal lawn chairs and a glider. I am looking for a source of hardware to complete my restoration. Specifically, the chairs had a piece that fit into the open metal tubes that come in contact with the ground. The piece has a short shaft that inserts into the tube and then it widens out into a round flat base that keeps the tube from sticking into the ground. Looks kind of like a flat topped mushroom. Any help would be appreciated...........

Yes, I spent about 2 hours googling various searches with no usable hits. I thought someone on here might know of a site where rubber/plastic hardware could be found....

Do a search for "chair crutch tips". I first site I checked looked like it had what you are looking for.
