I'm installing the HM509DG115 (with TrueIAQ humistat). I have hot water radiator heat and SpacePak A/C. I had an Aprilaire 700 in place ahead of the SpacePak air handler. I am replacing the Aprilaire with the TrueSteam. The Aprilaire connected two wires (24VAC) to a relay controlling the blower.

I want to keep it simple, so my question is which terminals on the TrueSteam do I connect to the fan relay? Do I pull the jumper? No need for a connection to a thermostat, as the humidifier works independently of the hot water heat. The diagram in the Installation Guide for the cooling-only application (pg. 16) adds too many components.

I tried just connecting the TrueSteam GF and EXT to the fan relay but got 0VAC, so it wouldn't engage the relay.

As a test, I temporarily connected the TrueSteam's two 24VAC to the fan relay and the blower turned on. Thanks in advance for any assistance.

On the air handler, do you have R, C, Y, and G? (where the t-stat wire hook goes to)

Hi Jay, yes I do have those connections on the air handler.
