I'm about ready to hang drywall in my new basement bathroom. What is the best way to install the drywall by a shower? Do you install the drywall over the flange and then use a special caulk?
Thanks,
Harlan

Ya, that's it. The nicer the cut edge is, the easier it is to finish and caulk. Use a siliconized acrylic latex caulk - it's paintable.

If you have a gap then pre fill with mud then tape and finish with the rest of the bathroom.
