i'm not a fan of these, but has anyone had any good luck with outdoor motion sensors and if so, which brand? thanks.

If you've got a GE wireless panel, I've been using my outdoor RF PIR with a swivle base going on 8 years now...No issues and no low battery signal yet...

I've had pretty good luck with the Optex products.
They aren't the cheapest, but they stand up to the worst that a couple of installs in N. FL can dish out (including a couple of tropical storms).
