I have a QEP Bridge Saw - no problems with it until today when I had to change the blade. Took the old blade off, found out that the blade the guys bought me was too small so I put the old blade back on, NOW it vibrates out of control. I have taken it apart again and cleaned it and regreased it and put it back together and it doesn't vibrate as bad, but put it through a tile and it breaks it from the vibration it does have.
This thing was cutting like butter until this - any suggestions???? I am running out of time to get this job done.

Just a "wag", but have you tightened all the bridge components? Sometimes if they work loose, it will shake like a hoochie coochie dancer until you tighten them up. Check to see that the blade spacer fits firmly over the mandrel. Any play at all will set up vibration.

I finally found the 8" blade and replaced it but before I did I looked at the old blade and it was warped!
It was just a slight variation but man did it throw everything off. I have never had that happen before.
Just another reason to buy a quality blade!

You're right. I had one with an ill punched hole. I spun it by hand and could see the rise and fall of the blade. Man did it vibrate. Bought a new one and it went away. I was breaking tile right and left making receptacle holes (5 - 12" tiles for one hole!) due to the vibration taking its toll. Glad you got the problem resolved.
