I am installing new carpet in our mobile home. My question this time is: If I install visquene over the padding to eliminate any spills to the padding, will it create problems later on. Using 7/16th foam pad on bottom and 7/16th horse hair pad on top of that for extra CUSH.

Extra cush is nice on the feet but it is very hard on the carpet. It will allow for too much movement of the backing. Premature delamination is imminent. Use a single layer of cushion with the spill guard manufactured into the top of the pad.
