Kenmore Aquasoft 100 just quit working. I've disassembled the entire head looking for foreign material. Timer motor working. Cam turning as it should. Could the resin tank be plugged? What could make it quit working all of a sudden?

Are used water softeners worth the price compared to potential problems?

Is the unit drawing brine? Is the unit on city water? Try this site. May help a lot.
