i live in portland, oregon and we have regulations on the exhaust that is put out by wood burning stoves with exceptions for some antiques. i have found a pot bellied stove that looks like a perfect fit for my limited space application but i cannot find any specific information about it. i would like to be able to provide some solid input about the stove to the city in order to establish wheather or not it will be legal before i purchase and install it. if it is not than my fire insurance is void as well as leaving myself open to some pretty hefty fines. so far through google i have found a few vague photos of what looks to be the same model. i have also found references to it being used/built in the early 1900's.
if anybody out there has some information or links to send me in the right direction i would very much appreciate it all.
