Hello: I would like to remove my home phone and use the Telguard TG-1B as my cell primary. I have reviewed through the manual for the TG-1B and it seems as if I just need to connect the RJ31 jack to the unit. i am am not sure how this will work once my home line is turned off. Do you know if I need to connect to any zones? What I don't understand is if I plug in the RJ31 jax from the panel to the TG-1 and my phone service is turned off how will it work since the RJ31 is connected to the panel? My alarm company will help me program it once it is installed, but want to charge me 350. for equipment and installation. I am new and just starting to learn about my alarm and would like to be able to do this myself if possible. Any suggestions/thoughts?
Thanks!
