I'm having a problem with the remote keypad making a constant beeping sound periodically that is disabled by touching a button on the keypad. I think this may be due to a low battery somewhere but the only one I know of is the Auxilary battery connected to the main board, and that is new - just replaced the old one. The keypad says "CHIME BAT" on it. Is there some other "Chime battery" that is housed in the remote keypad or something? I need help, the beeping noise is waking me up at night.

"Chime" means that your chime function is turned on.
"Bat" means that the battery is low
"Bat" with a zone number means that a wireless transmitter has a low battery.
It takes 4-12 hours for a Vista style system to register a new battery (it only re-tests the battery once a day).
What model is your alarm system? It sounds like you don't have a manual.
