Wanted to install a security system in my house. I see the 20p panel seems to be very well liked, but I also notice the good price on the 21ip panel. Can the 21ip be used for telco only, at least initially? I know Alarmnet monitoring can be expensive, but I prefer the internet+telco instead of just telco (we're on VOIP, and VOIP doesnt officially support alarms)

I have mostly casement (crank out) and horizontal sliding windows.......any suggestions how to install recessed contacts? The windows also have steel inner frames, so that might be an obstacle as well.

Finally, Im looking for motion, glassbreak and hardwired contacts. Any suggestions (brands and/or models) on those 3?

Are all hardwired contacts "the same", or are some better than others?
