I bought a new 'made in china' bedroom set at an auction. Buyer beware, and the drawers do not come all the way out.
One drawer's metal track has come away from the back of the frame, leaving the drawer tilted. I guess I can remove the back of the dresser and screw the screw into the back, but there's a screw under the front. How do I reinstall it? Very frustrating when you've bought junk.
Please help.
Thanks

Typically, on a single rail installation, there is a nylon block at the rear of the rail that attaches to the back panel of the dresser. This is attached by the manufacturer using hot glue and staples.
The drawer should have a center guide on it that has a nylon wheel. Pulling the drawer open the wheel will come out of the top of the rail through a notch in the rail.
The center rail can then be reattached using screws instead of staples. I recommend adding a block of wood to the outside of the back panel to have some substentive to screw into.

In addition to the good advice of clock, you might want to use a little glue of some sort. Some 5 minute epoxy from the local hardware, or some clear silicone should adequately bond the different material types.:coffee:
