Discovered mildew all over my down sleeping bag when I got it out of winter storage. I washed it in warm water and the spots are gone but I can still smell it. I know that dry cleaning fluids would probably ruin it. Is there another kind of soap that might work?

Hi and welcome to the forum! I think bleach (diluted in the wash) may be the only thing that'll kill it. Don't think you have anything to lose. Sleeping in mold can make you really sick!

Your bag should be dry cleaned.
I have a heavy down parka and a sleeping bag with 3 1/2 pounds of goose down and have dry cleaned each of them several times.
Water will flatten the down and it will not fluff up as much as when dry cleaned.
My parka was a little musty last fall and dry cleaning took away the odor.
Here (http://www.canada-goose.com/14p_faq.htm) is a recommendation for cleaning a parka but it applies to sleeping bags as well.
