Is there anything that actually works when trying to clean oil stains off of a concrete garage floor? thanks

if there are just a few spots..degreaser followed by kitty litter should help pull the spots out...if we are talking a ton of them you may want to consider pressure washing and sealing the floor with a epoxy based paint to cover them up

I've used a product called OSR (Lowes product) that works pretty well. You pour it on, let it dry and then sweep it up. Sometimes takes overnight to completely dry. Works well on oil spots and small areas, not something I'd use for much more than a few sq ft.

There are other similar products available.

The best thing I've found to remove oil stains from concrete is pure portland cement powder straight from the bag. Clean up all you can using detergent or other cleaners, let it dry, then put the cement on covering the stains maybe 1/4" thick and let it set until the stains are removed. If they're old they've probably penetrated quite deep, so it may take awhile to pull them out. But portland cement is very hygroscopic (absorbs liquids), so it will pull the oil out. The longer you leave it on the more it will absorb, so just leave it alone and let it work. Good luck.
