PC1555 and LED keypanel 5508
I close all doors.
LED 2 light on ( no ready, arm, and trouble indicator light on )
Press * 2, no LEDs light on, but trouble indicator is blinking about 30 seconds I don’t see any trouble LEDs (numbers)
After trouble light goes off, LED 2 lights on again.
Does zone 2 ( bad door wire magnet contacts ) causes LED 2 lights on ?
If magnet contacts are bad how do I test it ?
Zone set up :
Zone 1: Front door and garage
Zone 2: Rear slide door and door out to garage.
Zone 3: All windows
Zone 4: Motion ( living room)
Thank you

it means zone 2 is violated
if there are2 doors on that zone, you need to see if one is loose fitting, maybe a roller switch that isnt getting closed all the way.
turn on the chime feature- and then you can go to the door & play with the switch to hear if it opens & closes
when checking trouble - *2, the trouble LED will be on to let you know thats where your at. if no zone LED is lit at the same time- there is no trouble
you have an open zone, check the switches, see if they are "seeing" the magnet id they are magnetic contacts. rollers, see if they are getting compressed completely

Thank you for your rely
follow your advice, I turn chime on.
I open and close the door to garage, I hear chirping sound.
I open and close the rear slide door, I hear no chirping sound.
I guess, I have to replace wire magnet contact ( rear slide door ).

it could be the switch, the distance between mag & switch or broken wire
at least you know about where the problem is

Hi LOCKtec,
I found out, I made a mistake.
Zones setting up ( by installer ) should be :
Zone 1: Front door and door to garage
Zone 2: Rear slide door and garage door
Zone 3: Side windows
Zone 4: Motion in living room.
I Check garage door, I don’t see any wire or switch, or contact, or sensor that connect to it.
That is why Zone 2 is violated.
Can I remove garage door out of zone 2 ?
How do I remove it ?

Look carefully at the door frame. Look for a little 3/8" round spot on the frame. That's the contact. It may be hard to spot under paint. There should be a magnet in the edge of the door matched to line up with it.

Good morning MrRonFL,
Yes, there are some holes along the garage frames, but nothing in there.
I also look carefully the side and top of garage door, I find no switch, no sensor, no contact, no wires. There is only wire connects to garage opener.
In order to arm the system, I have to bypass Zone 2 ( rear slide door and garage door ).
My question is Can I bypass only garage door? How do I do it ?

you need to look in the panel at the wire/s going to ZONE 2, and the common.
if there is more than a pair, usually jacketed cable, you need to see which is for the sliding door & keep that pair connected. This is if they ran all wires back to panel.
also if they used a resistor, you will need to make sure one is on the sliding door wire.
see what you can in the box- wires on the #2 term. and report back

Oh, hang on... Are you looking at the garage overhead door?
Overhead doors are rarely alarmed (if a opener is connected, they are nearly impossible to force), have you checked the walk-through door from the garage to the exterior?
Otherwise, as Locktec has mentioned, you have to establish which wire goes where to know if you _can_ seperate the doors.

Yes, I check both doors.
As LOCkTec mentioned , I go to control box ( PC1555), Take off transformer and back up battery. I remove garage out door and rear slide door wires. I reconnect rear slide door wire, back up battery and transformer back. I reset the time. There is no more Zone 2 Violation. Thank LOCkTec and MrRonFL.
