oven has self cleaning feature. I used this, went thru whole process fine, when it was done the ignitiors all just keep clicking like they are trying to start. I unplugged the whole stove a few times still same result. I tried pulling each plug wire off one at a time trying to see if only one was short but no help.
so the wires are still unattached to the ignitiors and the oven still tries to ignite? any ideas?????

Hello tecate87. Welcome to the Gas Appliances topic.
At this time and based upon the problem description, I cannot think of any cause or reason why the ovens igniter continues to spark after using the self cleaning mode....
Ovens spark igniter should be on it's own circuit and like is on it's own circuit. Sparkers for the top burners should not spark when only oven set to use. Nor should ovens spark ignition/igniter fire when only top burner(s) is turned on.
If the above is how the sparkers worked in the past, separate from each other, top burners not activating ovens spark and ovens sparker not activating top burners sparkers, there must be more to the problem that isn't known....
Maybe a short somewhere. Check wiring in oven compartment, etc. Or the problem developed as coincident to oven self cleaning.....
Possibly some cleaning done at top burners while oven in self clean mode. Moisture got onto top burner switches???
Retail parts dealers and appliances parts stores can also help determine what the possible problem may be based upon that specific brand and model. May be a condition they encountered with that model. Might be a good idea to inquire.
Bring the make, model and serial numbers. Dealers and appliances parts stores are listed in the phone book.
Cautionary Reminder Note:
Before attempting any repairs, be sure to unplug the appliance from the wall receptacle power source first.
