Hi I am going to be building a TV Frame and was wondering what type of paint i should use that will withstand heat fluctuations.

I am worried that with the plasma tv getting turned on and off all the time the paint will crack.

I am building something that looks like the classical frame here

HD Envy - LCD and Plasma TV Frames (http://www.hdenvy.com/)

But with a lime green center and more decorative corners.

I will probably be picking the paint up at home depot but just not sure what type would work best.

Welcome to the forums!

I have to admit I don't think I've ever painted a TV frame but I can't imagine the tv emmitting enough heat to damage quality interior paint.

Depending on the type of wood used, I'd either use an oil base enamel undercoater or the latex version and top coat with latex or waterborne enamel.
