Hi. I made a mistake and posted in the hardware fasteners, sorry! I want to remove the auger/impeller assembly from the blower housing. Need to remove two square bolts from auger wheel in rear of blower housing. Accessibility is only enough for a socket wrench between wheel and rear of blower housing.
Sae and metric sockets will not fit bolts but i am going to try a universal socket for broken, worn or square head bolts. My question is if i am lucky enough to be able to loosen the bolts on the auger wheel can i remove the wheel without a pulley?

Hate to bounce you around, but your bet bet for an answer to your problem is to go to the outdoor power equipment forum. It is a sub section of the cars, trucks, etc forums at the top of the forums page.
The power machinery here is more of the drills, mills, lathes, grinders variety.
