I am trying to remember what the trick is when I am replacing the spring in the recoil? I let the spring uncoila nd now I can't seem to wind it back up so I can get it back into the housing. I tried using wire to keep it tight but the center of the coil is offset not allowing it to go back of the shaft...HMMM..anybody out there with some advive?
Thanks,...Reg

put the outside end in the housing, and wind the spring into the housing. Set the rope pulley in to the housing, and over the end of the spring, wind the spring untill it stops then feed the rope thru from the inside out thru the pulley and rope hole in housing, tie on the handle and your ready to go.
