We remodeled our basement about three years ago. Although it has worked out well, there is an extreme amount of moisture down there. using dehumidifiers has not worked at all. Any recommendations to dry out my basement. It is creating mold problems.

How big of an area are you drying out? Also, what's the dehumidifier capcity?
You have any vents open down there over the winter months?

What is the source of the water, as that is where to start. Ground water, through the walls, from surface run off, leaky pipes, other. Water/moisture management starts by diverting rain water far away from the house. Drainage around your foundation inside and out then take care of ground water if there is a place for it to go. New home, old home, and what is in place for water management?
