Quick question. I have beaded paneling made from plastic or pvc, color is white. Would like to paint a different color. Do I need to prime it and with what? Would zinsser work? thanks!

I don't think they have PVC in full size panels..though they do have it for wainscoting. If these are floor to ceiling (4x8) they are probably a version of tileboard. Its a glossy baked on finish. It would probably require scuff sanding and a good adhesive primer...but I'll let the Pro's comment further on that.

The PVC wainscoting (about 32" tall in 4" strips IIRC) can be cleaned well, then painted with a quality latex. It has more of a semi-gloss/satin factory finish.

Adding a little emulsa bond to the latex enamel will help with adhesion.
