I have an old wooden dock over a lake that needs to be cleaned and refinished. How can I safely pressure wash the dock without chemicals so I do not harm the water? What is the best weatherproofing product for the intense Florida sun?

A gas driven 2,000 psi pressure washer with a red tip will do the job without any chemicals. Maintain a 3 to 4 foot distance between the gun & the wood.
I don't have any recommendation on sealer except I would use a clear sealer.
