The floor under my vinyl tile floor is concrete and it's cracked all throughout. I want to put new vinyl tiles down, but I need to repair the concrete first. I've been told that the way to do this is with something called "thin set concrete". What product should I use? I've researched this a bit on the internet and there are tons with different thin sets with different types of additives. I need to do the hallway, dining room and kitchen. Is putting thin set on, similar to laying concrete i.e. we'll need a very big trowel? Are there any how-to websites anyone can reccommend?

Thanks! Jerbark
