I did a quick SEARCH, and didn't come up with any concrete answers to my issue.
These benches from our church outside chapel had consider green moss or mildew on such, so a spray of bleach and water was used to remove same. It did a very good job and returned the wood to a nice light color.
My question is..............
Has anyone applied a REDWOOD color stain to such, and would such be advisable? I see that oil is the prefered treatment for inside furniture, but outside what have any of you used with good results. I know that Teak doesn't really need any treatment for protection, but the color is what I am after.
Any comments you might have are MOST WELCOME.

it is very hard to get Teak to take any sort of a stain. You could try Australian Timber Oil from Cabots. It is supposed to work on those hard to coat woods, but it may not last very long. The issue is the tight grain combined with the oils just does not allow for a lot of penetration.
