i have a mercury 20 horse power but have no idea what year it is the serial # is 0B338705 can anyone tell me if the year is in the serial # and if so what year it is thanks

Google worked. Looks like an 88 or 89. The number you have falls between the numbers listed for those years. Omit the leading zero.
