Outside Unit: Carrier 38ycc030300
Airhandler: FA4ANF030000AFAA
Old T-stat: Bryant TSATBBNHP01B
Problem: Replacement thermostat blows warm air for AC. Heat is working just fine.
First time visitor. Here is the wiring:
Red Wire to R
White wire to O/B (Bryant t-stat was W/W1)
Blue wire to C
Green wire to G
Yellow wire to Y
Orange wire to Aux (O/W2 on Bryant)
Setting on program for function 170 to 9 (2 heat 1 cool).
I also re-mounted the old thermostat and the cool works fine, so the problem is not with the heat pump/AC unit...the problem is either in my wiring or the programming. Also, there is a brown and a black wire which were not attached to any place in the old thermostat. Any suggestions will help. Thanks

Here is what I have tried:
Switching the Orange wire to the O/B terminal and the White wire to the Aux...AND...per page 12 in the manual If E and Aux terminals do not each have a wire connected, use a small piece of wire to connect them to each other.
Did it and STILL have nice WARM air coming out on A/C.

When in doubt...RE-READ the directions. Had it set for conventional and moved the setting to 7 and 190 to 0. Seems to be working.Beer 4U2

What Kw rating do you have for back up heat in the air handler?
do you have an extra wire tucked into the wall?
