I have read all the old postings, but still am unable to bare the screws that I need to secure this locking door handle. Both handles are the lever kind. I can get one handle off quite easily, but cannot remove the plate,which seems to be two pieced. I see the small slit in the exterior plate, but when I insert a flat head in it makes contact with nothing . Please help me. Richard
