Hi,
I am trying to enroll an Ademco 5816 wireless door contact with my Ademco 6150RF keypad. I put it in zone programing, zone 3 (*33) and then put the magnet and contact together, then pulled them apart. The dealer said this would enroll it, but nothing happened. What am I doing wrong?

Zone programming is *56 on most Honeywell/Ademco models and you cannot see the menu prompts with a 6150 class keypad. Your information is likely in error.

What model is the actual alarm control? The 6150 keypad is compatible with about 20 odd alarm system models.

The panel is an ademco vista 10-se. But i returned the wireless sensor, and just bought another wired one. Thanks for your reply!
