i'm buying my bosses extra motorguide trolling motor, its a 2003 71lb bow mount with foot pedal and variable speed, with very little wear. He's asking $250, is it worth that? A new one is like $600+ and i've found similar used ones running about $450.

That sounds about right, not the best deal on a 5 year old unit unless it wasn't used much.
