I've got a Troybilt Pony Tiller probably 30 years old, Brigggs & stratton 5 HP Model 130292 Type 0793 01 Code 79110806...I am also have trouble starting. Have cleaned fuel tank replaced sparkplug and have no spark..trying to now find a ignition coil for this engine. Can you help me find an ignition coil for this engine?

Thank you,

298316 should be the coil number if that's what you want. There are a zillion places to get one here on the net, but most preferred would be your local small engine shop in case you get a bad one. Do not buy an aftermarket coil. Be sure what you are buying is genuine briggs, or you will probably wind up replacing it again soon.

I was thinking Briggs 298316 which specifies fits models 130200 thru 132900. The Briggs 397358 which you suggested fits models 133200,133700,135200 and 135700 or at least thats what I've read...Am I wrong?
