I am looking for a rear engine rider...30" deck. My last mower was a Snapper. Two features that really impressed me was: (1) could stand it on its backside making removal of the blade super easy, (2) it has a stainless steel deck. What I was wanting to know, are there any other brands that offer these two features? I would like to hear your opinions.

No other company offers both features to my knowledge. In fact, I didn't know a stainless deck was available from snapper at all. Is it painted? I think Dixie Chopper made stainless models, but those are big ZTRs. For a rear engine rider from 26" to 42", you can't beat a snapper.

Cheese-Thanks for your opinion. The deck on my Snapper is painted stainless steel. The new Snapper has SS decks also.

If you liked the Snapper, they are still avialble with the same features you want. I don't know of anyone else currently making a similar machine.
