Welcome to the forums! If it is a free standing stove, you will need 4 of your biggest best friends and a grill full of hamburgers and cool drinks. Those babys are heavy.

...and you will also want to have a way to seal off the thimble - where the stove pipe enters the chimney.

Since it is nstove pipe you want to at minimum remove the pipe in the living area, making sure the pipe in the attic is securely supported and cover the hole in the ceiling. If you don't intend to replace or reinstall the stove, you might want to remove all the metal flue and repair the hole in the roof.
