Hey, for the life of me I forgot how I fixed this last year and its driving me nuts. I've reset (no power or battery) my Concord to reroute some power cabling and the unit resorted to old behavior where my piezo siren chirps when arming and disarming the alarm.

Ok, no problem, I search this forum and found I only needed to change Output 1 to 00410. Great, it fixed the chirping. But now, the piezo siren won't alarm at all now. I usually test my system every week or so and when doing so, the piezo won't siren now. If I reset Output 1 back to default, it works fine, but the chirp starts again and drives me and my family nuts.

I've done this before, but totally forgot. How do I disable the piezo chirp but retain the siren functionality during alarm situation?

Thanks in advance!

I'm a bit surprised no one has a comment. I've tried again to figure this out myself, but at a loss. Doesn't make sense the piezo siren requires chirping to work. I swear the piezo (a Ademco/Honeywell Wave2PD) was working correctly several months ago. Like I said, I usually test the system when I can, the piezo would siren, but no chirping when enabling or disabling the alarm, which is what I'm after again.

The way it stands now, the piezo doesn't siren unless I program the chirp, which is very annoying. Any assistance would be appreciated.

Make sure the piezo in question is connected to one of the 2 outputs and not to the speaker terminals....

Thanks GEguy. The piezo is connected to Out2 Terminal 10. Two additional sirens, both exterior, are wired in series to SPKR Terminals 7 and 8. The exteriors work fine.

you stated above that you changed output 1 programming, but now you mention the piezo is wired to output 2...could that be the issue?

No, I was mistaken within the first post. Output 2 was changed to 00410. This stopped the chirp, but also silenced the siren during alarm.
