I have upgraded an old ITI SX-V panel to a Concord 4. I want to use the old sensors, have installed new batteries in them, and have the sx-v non-learn mode translator. I am able to learn the translator into the panel, but am unable to learn any of the old sensors.

Documentation for the old SX-V panel says the house code is 221, which I have confirmed is properly set on the translator. I don't have a keypad for the old SX-V to confirm if it was ever changed.

When I try to trip a sensor to have it recognized by the panel, nothing happens.

Question:
1) Do the new sensor numbers I set on the Concord have to be the same as the original sensor number programmed into the non-learn mode sensor? I have tried that with one of the sensors but with the same result.

Any suggestions will be much appreciated! Thanks!

Three things could be wrong.
First - That's not the house code.
Second - I've seen in the past when some ITI Sensors would go into SLEEP mode. Don't know why. Unfortunately the only way to get them out of this mode is with the handheld programmer (ITI 60-371). Try other sensors.
Third - The translator is not recieving properly.

Don't hold me to this but I'm guessing that yes the sensor has to be programmed as it's original zone number since the old transmitters were programmed with the handheld programmer and assigned a zone number.
