Hello all
Just got my granite installed in my kitchen...kind of a dark green granite almost black colored called Uba Tuba from Brazil. I still have the old backsplash tiles up there (slate gray color) and would like to upgrade the backsplash too. I would your input on what i could put ...I tend to lead toward mosaics ...i attached some pics so you can have an idea of what it looks like currently. The Ubatuba granite is a green so dark, that looks like black, but with hints of other greens As the cabinets are white, I'd sugest two options
Check the Granite Collection of Daltile
Daltile Granite Collection Natural Stone Tile (http://daltileproducts.com/series.cfm?series=108)
They have a tile called Ubatuba (G761) that matches the exact color of your counter--> showed in the right side of the picture
Or you can mix Biscotti CB02 (Calabria) with Everglade MG18 (showed in the picture under the cabinets)
Note: I tried to set a image for you but the resolution of your pictures was very low, so sorry for the small size / quality of the image.

Thanks for the recommendations :thumbup:...i think the UBA TUBA tile would look great with the pre existing granite. Just a side note due to the quality of the photo the hue of the cabinets were off. Maybe you can see it better in this photo but they are not white but rather a golden wood color. Any other ideas? what about mosaic?

You can try glass mosaics. Check a color called Glossy Evergreen
Also, check mosaics with cooper reflections--> they will "marry" :D the cabinets' color + the Ubatuba granite
