I recently purchased a Honeywell Ademo Lynxr-2.

I'm having problems with installing the door/window sensors. After I install the sensor via voice programming mode the system does not recognize when the door opens or closes. When i take the cover off the unit of the sensor it acts as if the door or window was open or closed instead of the unit beeping as if in tamper mode..

Any suggestions?

The sensors were working fine before, so I dont understand the problem. Any help would be greatly appreciated

Based on your information supplied, I'm guessing that you enrolled the wrong loop number. For the standard 5816 transmitter, the built in contact is loop 2. Loop 1 is the hardwire input terminals.
