I need to repaint the front stairs on my house. I would like to know if I can add a sand mix to the paint to prevent slipping and also, should I put a sealer on the cement even though it has already been painted. If so, what type of sealer should I use?

Either paint or use a sealer, not both. Add sand for anti-slip if you choose.
