I have a gas range hood that needs painting, can you paint them? if so, how do I prepare it and what kind of paint do I use?
Any info you can provide will be appreciated.
Thanks,
Jo Ann

You can paint them. I would take the range hood down and remove the hardware and fan. It must be cleaned of all grease before you paint. Try a solution of water and TSP to degrease the hood. This is important - get the grease off.
Let it dry and lightly sand it with 200-220 grit sandpaper. Get appliance spray paint in your color choice and spray it.
