Ok, first I am new to this so if I am posting this to the wrong thread, I apologize...we are in the process of painting our old kitchen cabinets and then hope to be distressing them(mainly ju80st by doing some sanding in some spots)....I just want to make sure there is nothing we are missing that we should have done.....the cabinets were very dark and shiny, so we sanded them with 180, then put 3 coats of primer on, and 2 coats of antique white paint(which ended up turning out a little creamier than what i expected), i noticed though when we were putting the doors back on, the paint wasn't completely dry and 2 doors were laying against each other, so when i took them apart a little piece of the paint came off and it is showing the dark wood, so my question is when we decide to do the finally sanding in spots is it going to be the dark wood coming through?
