Hello,
I need help with installing a DSC dual tone 30watt siren. Can I install directly to the control panel board? I have the system up and running but would like to add this siren to it.
Thanks,
Nick

NO
the 9047 is a LOW amp output. MAX- 50mA
you need to program 1 of the input/output connections (section 009) to output, then depending on which of the 2 terminals you are using, set (section 501 or 502) attributes for that output (fire/burg) and install a LOW amp draw relay and use an aux. power supply to drive the siren.
If you dont have the installers code or knowlage of the programming it will be a little hard to do.
BUT - there is no set connection for the siren to connect to- these connections at default are not programmed to do anything.
If you want a model number for a realy- P/M me, as i think i was removed under another name for naming the company & model # in another post.
