I moved into a new home, and I need to know how to reset my home alarm system to the factory settings, since I do not have the master code from the previous owner to arm or disarm the system. Can anyone help? The keypad is a First Alert Professional FA215.

That keypad is used on multiple First Alert systems. Open the door to the metal box where the battery is located. The diagram inside the door should have the correct model number so we can tell you which steps to follow.
