Does anyone know if it's possible to mix colors of laminate wood flooring? We have only 5 of the approx. 11 boxes of Pergo we need to complete a project. The style has been discontinued and we can't find any more boxes yet. We don't know if we could use another color and create a pattern with another color of the same style and brand. Any thoughts or experience with this? We don't want to have to use another color all together b/c of continuity from another adjacent room.

I've done similar. Used an oak(?) grain pattern..and they had the same pattern with 3 small mahogany diamonds in each plank. I don't remember exactly how I spaced it, but with oak stained base and mahogany stained shoe molding..it came out looking great!

I agree - this could turn out great. Definitely lay it out ahead of time to get a feel for what it's going to look like to make sure you're happy with it before you begin installing.
